FROM THE SOUTH:
Exit the M6 at Junction 19, following signs for the M56 (Manchester City Centre). Turn left at GMEX towards the rear of the Midland Hotel and turn immediately right, which brings you onto Mount Street. Keep going straight to Albert Square, following the road round until joining Princess Street. Crossing the Mosley Street tramlines you will see the Arora Hotel Manchester on the corner of Princess Street and George Street, opposite the Art Gallery.
FROM THE NORTH:
Exit the M61 at junction 1 and join the M62 South towards Liverpool. At exit 12 join the M602 signed Manchester City Centre. The motorway becomes the A57 (regent Road). Turn left into Water Street and then right into Quay Street, follow the road ahead until it becomes Peter Street. Turn left onto Mount Street (just before the round City Library building) then follow the directions from the South).
By bus/ coach
The city has one of the most extensive bus networks outside London with over 50 bus companies operating in the Greater Manchester region radiating from the city. First Manchester operates a three route zero-fare bus service called Metroshuttle which carries commuters around Manchester's business districts. Bus stops on the corner of Princess Street and Portland Street. The hotel is 200 yards up Princess Street on the left hand side.
Coaches operate from the coach station at Manchester Central. One of the major operators, National Express serves over 1,200 destinations across the UK
Manchester is well served by train. Local operator Northern Rail operates all over the north of England, and other national operators include Virgin Trains. Greater Manchester has an extensive countywide railway network, and two mainline stations (Piccadilly station and Oxford Road station).
From the Piccadilly Station (10-minute walk), follow signs for Piccadilly Gardens. Turn left onto Portland Street then right onto Princess Street. Arora Hotel Manchester will be on your left.
From Oxford Road Station (7-minute walk) turn left along Oxford Road and continue to the traffic lights. Turn right onto Portland Street, then left at the next set of traffic lights onto Princess Street. Arora Hotel Manchester will be on your left hand side.
Manchester became the first city in the UK to acquire a modern light rail system when the Manchester Metrolink opened in 1992. The present system mostly runs on former commuter rail lines converted for light rail use, and crosses the city centre via on-street tram lines. The 37 km (23 mi)-network consists of three lines with 37 stations (including five on-street tram stops in the centre).
The Manchester Metrolink Tram is only a 2 minute-walk from Arora Hotel Manchester the nearest station being St Peter’s Square and offers speedy access to Manchester United Football Club, The Trafford Centre and other locations throughout the region.
TO / FROM Manchester Airport

Follow the M56 towards City centre. This road will continue into Princess Park Way; at the large roundabout take the second exit onto Medlock Street. Head straight till the second traffic lights and take a right hand turn into Bridgewater Street. At the next set of traffic lights go straight over into Portland Street. Take the first street left into Dickinson Street. Continue this road and take the third street on your right into Back George Street. Arora Hotel Manchester is situated directly on your right hand side on Princess Street.
BY TRAIN from the airport
Trains run from Manchester Airport to Manchester Piccadilly Station every 20 minutes. The journey time is 12 minutes. On arrival at Piccadilly station follow signs for Piccadilly Gardens. Turn left onto Portland Street then right onto Princess Street. Arora Hotel Manchester will be on your left.
